What you can expect

UK Certification courses are run through Approved Centres. You will attend the Approved Centre and undertake an assessment. Contact information and brief details of the courses each Approved Centre offers can be found in the “Find a Centre” link in this section. You will also find web site links there for each Approved Centre. All our Approved Centres are visited and audited regularly to make sure they continue to meet the standards and requirements for the assessments they provide.

An information/application pack is available to all Operatives. This includes application forms, details of information you will need to supply, our terms and conditions and the rules of the relevant scheme bodies, depending on which course or assessment you wish to take.

You will be advised of your assessment result before you leave the centre and you will be able to take a form away with you which confirms the outcome. Your paperwork then goes through a series of internal and external checks before it is sent to us for certification. (Please see FAQ section for further details). You can check the progress of your certification at any time by contacting either the Approved Centre you attended or UK Certification head office.

Your certificate will be produced and sent to you within 8 working days of us receiving fully verified and approved certification documentation from the Approved Centre. If you have taken an accredited assessment (ACS gas or OFTEC Schemes), we will also send your results to the relevant registrar.
