What we do

UK Certification offers qualifications, assessment, and certification services for the Gas, Oil, Electrical, Renewables, Plumbing, and Heating sectors.

We are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to deliver assessment for the Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) for gas operatives and the Accredited Certification Scheme for OFTEC technicians.

Established in 2005 and achieving UKAS accreditation in September 2006, UK Certification was founded with a clear objective: to deliver an assessment and certification service that understands and supports the needs of both Approved Centres and Operatives.

We operate through a national network of Approved Centres, working in close partnership to ensure that all assessment processes, procedures, and standards fully align with relevant regulatory, scheme, and industry requirements.

Impartiality is central to our operations. Assessment and certification are accessible to all Operatives who meet the published scheme entry criteria, and all activities are conducted with independence, consistency, and integrity.
